Who we are in Christ...
We have precious promises (2 Pet 1:4)
We have the Word of God, not of men (1 Thes 2:13) It is God that worketh in us (Phil 2:13) We are more than Conquerors Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. We have the mind of Christ 1 Cor 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. We have God's powerful Spirit dwelling within us Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. We are kings and priests unto God Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. 11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; We are sons of God Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Gal 4:7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. We are heirs of God/Joint-heirs with Christ Rom 8:16-17 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. Our lives are hid with Christ in God Col 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. We are seated in heavenly places in Christ Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: We have access to God Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Heb 10:18-20 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin. 19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,4 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; Heb 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. 15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. We have the Holy Ghost in us Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. We are Perfected For Ever Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. We have peace with God Rom 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Col 1:21-22 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: We are Justified and Saved from His Wrath Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 1 Cor 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. We are Saints 1 Cor 1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: We are Chosen Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: We are Called 1 Cor 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. We are Forgiven Col 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Eph 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; We are the Righteousness of God 2 Cor 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. There is No Condemnation Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. We are New Creatures 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. We are Reconciled to God Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. We are complete in Him Col 2:9-10 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: He has given us all we need pertaining 2 Pet 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: We have life eternal 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. We are alive unto God Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. We are dead to sin Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? We are free from sin Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. Jn 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. |
